‘The Center for Psychological Sciences, Zhejiang University’ is one of the important contents of the 'Support plan for first-class, core and basic subject construction (science)' at Zhejiang University.The center takes the advantages of the multi-disciplinary agglomeration effect of Zhejiang university. The center is oriented to the scientific frontiers, the new situation of the national economy and the psychological problems arising from the new technology, and set up a high quality interdisciplinary research team. Through the undertaking of major national projects and the extensive cooperation with the scientific research institutes and enterprises and institutions, the center carries out frontier research in related fields and applied research on industrial innovation, and builds a high standard influential research institutions and training bases at home and abroad.
The Center for Psychological Sciences, Zhejiang University, will work to provide young scientists with the platform to realize their dreams. The first Young Scientist Forum of Zhejiang University Psychological Science Research Center will be held from April 28 to 29, 2017 in Zhejiang University (Hangzhou).The theme of this forum covers the frontier research fields of psychological science and related disciplines. In particular, we encourage young scholars in the following fields to apply for this meeting: (1) human studies and human causes, (2) psychology, (3) human physiology, (4) neuroscience, (5) information science.
Applicants must have obtained or will receive a Ph.D. degree in psychology or related disciplines in 2017. The organizing committee will select 10-15 people from applicants to attend the meeting in hangzhou.The center for psychological science of Zhejiang University will provide participants with international travel expenses (no more than 1500 dollars, economy class) and local food and lodging expenses in Hangzhou.
The application material should include a resume, a published paper catalogue, and 3-5 representative papers (PDF), and be submitted to Professor Ge Liezhong by April 1st.
